Scanner Symptoms

The software does not recognise the scanner , or the scanner test software says the scanner has a problem.

First Step : Check you have the right driver software.
More information : You must be sure that the scanner software is set up to use the same type of scanner that you actually have installed. Check the driver software is of the correct type, and try to make sure it is the most up-to-date version of the driver and software. If you are using Windows 95, you can use the Device Manager to let you know if there is another device causing a conflict over some resource the scanner might be attempting to use.
