Network Symptoms
I am using Win95, and I cannot see a specific computer that I know exists.
- First Step : Check that the computer has the correct networking software and drivers are correctly configured.
- More information : In order for PC's to communicate on a peer-to-peer network, they must be using the same protocols and services. The most common example is an ethernet network, which is running IPX as a protocol. If you are running the TCP-IP protocol, you will need to add IPX or you cannot see the computers which are using the IPX protocol. You should also check that the drivers are correct - see the NETWORK DRIVERS section.
