Mouse Symptoms

The mouse buttons do not click properly.

First Step : Check the microswitch inside the button.
More information : Open up the mouse and try pressing the microswitch underneath the button. If it works, then the problem is that the button is not pressing hard enough on the switch. It might be worthwhile making sure all the parts inside the mouse are in the correct place, and making sure that the case is attached firmly and correctly. If you cannot get the switch to depress by the button, it might be easier simply to replace the mouse.
