Monitor Symptoms

• First Step : Check the brightness controls are not set too low for the picture to display.
• More information : Effectively all monitors have brightness and contrast control. In a standard monitor the controls will likely be underneath the screen, or at the side. In a digital monitor, the controls will consist of some buttons. Use these dials or buttons to change the level of brightness and contrast, until you either see a picture, or you are convinced this is not the problem.
