Modem Symptoms
The software does not recognise the modem.
- First Step : Check the modem drivers.
- More information : Ensure that you have the correct drivers and/or software for that modem, and that you are using the most up-to-date version of that software. Also check that the software and drivers are set up to use the correct resources, such as IRQ and I/O address. If you are in Windows 95 or 98, you should use the System section of the Control Panel to make sure the resources which are being used do not conflict with resources being used by other devices.
